The Mississippi Technology Alliance launched the Innovators Hall of Fame in 2008 to celebrate the achievements of some of our state’s brightest minds. The individuals and companies recognized here represent excellence in innovation and technology in Mississippi.

In its third year, the Innovators Hall of Fame Awards Gala recognized
Dr. Robert Khayat as the recipient of the Mississippi Innovators Legends Award. Dr. Robert C. Khayat served as the 15th Chancellor of The University of Mississippi from 1995 until 2009. As Chief Executive Officer he was responsible for the operation and management of a four campus comprehensive university. Under his leadership, the university experienced a renaissance. Enrollment increased, the campuses were revitalized, compensation for faculty and staff became more competitive and private support soared.

The 2010 inductees are trailblazers who have demonstrated excellence in innovation and technology and represent the very best of Mississippi.

Will Primos, Founder and Director, Primos Hunting Calls;

Dr. Bill Rayburn, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of FNC, Inc..
